The Process

I recently had the pleasure of styling my friend Joy. I have known her for a while now. Thus, it made it easier for me to style her. I styled her based on her personality. In this blog, I will post only a few pictures. You'll have to go to my portfolio to see her collection. I am experimenting with photography and editing. So if the pictures do not look that great, I apologize in advance!

I have been inspired by satin, wool fedora hats, scarves, chunky jewelry, and fur lately. You saw a glimpse of that in my first shoot. You see more of what my stylings consist of in this shoot. Furthermore, you'll see more in the future as I post pictures and work with different clients.

I really wanted to add a neck scarf to Joy. She is just so pretty and fragile. I wanted to make her into a stylish fashionista (as cliche as that may sound). I went out and bought clothes that would make her look very stylish and consistent with what inspires me.

Putting Together the Outfits

I then put the outfits together in my mind. Then, I wanted to see what it looks like in real life and even physically as shown below:

The Shoot

I finally went over to Joy's place. I showed her all the outfits. She loved each one when she wore them. She validated my work. It was so much fun working with her. I took so many pictures! I edited more than I usually do. I wanted a very classy, chic look for her. Her personality is bubbly yet fashionable. I did exactly that when I worked with her.
